Weighing in at less than 19 pounds, the Canon PC170 folds into a sleek, compact shape resembling a briefcase complete with handle for easy carrying. It features Canon's patented RAPID Fusing System, which provides instant warm-up; with no warm-up time required, the Canon PC170 can begin copying immediately at speeds of up to four copies-per-minute (cpm) for letter-size paper and comes equipped with a 50-sheet stack tray that accepts postcard to letter-size paper.
The copier offers virtually maintenance-free operation with Canon's exclusive Single Cartridge System, containing the drum, development unit and toner, for performance that requires little-to-no maintenance at just pennies-per-copy.
The Canon PC170 personal copier also offers tremendous versatility, copying onto a variety of papers, including stationary, postcards, colored paper, transparencies and labels. Copy quality is exceptional with a choice of automatic or manual exposure and automatic shut-off.
In order to effectively conserve energy, Canon has built an automatic shut-off function into the Canon PC170, designed to automatically turn off the copier after idling un-used for 5 1/2 minutes. These energy-saving attributes enable the Canon PC170 to meet the ENERGY STAR guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy.
